Since 2017, Cindy Koelman van Doornik has been helping researchers and scientists increase the visibility of their research and thus increase its impact. With over 25 years of experience in communications, Cindy knows exactly how to bring insights and results successfully to the attention of the target audience and how to involve them in research. Through various workshops, she teaches scientists how to communicate more and better about their research. She also advises and supports Centers of Expertise at various universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Her aim is to encourage scientists to communicate themselves, because "no scientist does research just to let it disappear into a drawer!"
