Speaker Bio:
Amanda Ribeiro is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager in the Insights & Evaluation Team at the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). She works on health research evaluation and impact assessment, with a particular focus on supporting NIHR’s Global Health Research portfolio and managing NIHR’s annual data collection of research outputs, outcomes and impact. Holding an MSc in Science and Technology Policy, Amanda is currently leading on the development of an Impact Tool, which brings together evidence from multiple data sources to support more efficient and meaningful impact assessment. At the conference, she will share reflections from this development process and discuss practical ways to make better use of complex datasets to understand the impact of funded research.
